MUSIC QUESTIONS

For the music systems, do I have to get a controller if I already have an iTouch/iPhone?
No, you don't need another controller. Although we like the fact that the Autogy controller is a dedicated controller and is not used for any other functions, which
makes it incredibly fast and reliable, your music phone will work just fine with a iTouch or iPhone as a controller.

Will Apple's new iPad touchpad also function as a controller for my Autogy Music System?
As of this time, it is our understanding that the iPad will be able to function as a controller just like the iTouch or iPhone.

Do I have to leave my computer on all the time?
Any time you're accessing a music library that is stored on a computer, that computer does need to be on. However our multi room music systems offer access
to many other music options, such as streaming internet and internet radio stations. Accessing those sources can be done without any computers being on.

music you've selected).

How long does the controller battery last?
The controller battery will last approximately 2-5 days (depending on usage pattern and sleep timer settings). It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge.

MOVIE QUESTIONS

What is an Autogy Media Center?
An Autogy Media Center is an "all-in-one" device that combines the functions of multiple home entertainment components such as a DVD player, CD/MP3 player,
computer, and Tivo box into one, easy to use appliance.

I already have a DVD player, a TiVoŽ, a CD changer/stereo, and/or VCR. What would having a Media Center do for me?
Instead of having different devices and remotes for each device, you can get every feature of these devices, plus more, on one single Auytogy Media Center.
Best of all, all these features are controlled by an easy-to-use remote. The Autogy Media Center also has enhanced functions, such as storing tons of music, TV
shows, pictures, and more - which is not available on standard devices!

Is the Autogy Media Center affordable?
The Autogy media center replaces multiple electronic devices, and with its modular, scalable design, it's actually more cost-effective and affordable then
repeated discarding and replacing out-of-date and obsolete electronic equipment! The total cost of ownership (TCO) of an entire Autogy setup is usually lower
then the cost of keeping up with the latest in electronics.

Are there any monthly fees for Autogy products?
No - every standard Autogy Media Center function have no monthly fees. All the programming guide information, CD music track information, cover art, etc. are
downloaded from the internet for free. An installer may provide or require additional monthly or yearly contracts for service, which are outside of the scope of
Autogy systems.

Can I copy & play movie discs to my Autogy media center?
Yes, every Autogy Media Center comes with licensed decryption software for disc playback of standard DVDs, Blu-rays, and HD DVDs (where applicable), and
not every movie title can be copied to your hard drive. Most movie titles are copy protected, which in most countries, including the USA, is illegal to break.
Because of that, Autogy (based in the USA) does not ship, offer, provide, or induce the use of unlicensed decrypting software on our systems. Any attempt to
copy protected discs will fail within the first percentages of the copy - contact us for more information on DVD archivals.

Everything I have is already easy to use, why would I want an Autogy Media Center?
The Autogy Media Center has dozens of additional features that standard devices do not have, such as a single point of storage for all of your music, pictures,
TV shows, DVDs, and Blu-rays, and the ability to access all of that on another television by connecting it to a media extender. All Autogy Media Center models
also come with standard DVD writers that you can use to share your media with other friends and family.

Is the Autogy Media Center compatible with HDTVs?
Yes, the Autogy Media Center can output video resolutions from 480p, 720p, 1080i, and up to 1080p!

Technically:
- HDMI & DVI connections can support up to 1080p and up, while
- VGA and component outputs support up to 1080i.
- S-Video supports up to 480p and 576i

Note when playing back from a physical DVD disc, all video connections will fully upscale the video feed EXCEPT when using a component connection, which is
limited to 480p. This is a limitation of Macrovision, & can be bypassed by using a VGA-to-component scaler - please contact us for further details.

Can I get HDTV with my Autogy Media Center?
With the current generation models, you can get over-the-air (OTA) HDTV signals & HD Cable content (uQAM & CableCARD*) by purchasing a upgrade. HDTV
received through your satellite box is not currently supported, but will be available in next generation models. New technologies and solutions are constantly
being developed - please contact us for further details.

Can I use the Autogy Media Center like a regular computer/desktop PC?
Even though the Autogy Media Center is designed to be an entertainment appliance, you can still use it as a regular computer or desktop PC and surf the web,
check email, or write papers. At no time should additional software be installed, since it may compromise stability of the system. All units include with a wireless
keyboard with integrated trackball combination.

Why would I want a noisy PC in my living room? Is the Autogy Media Center quiet?
Autogy Media Centers are designed with quietness in mind! We have the near-silent RoomClient & RoomClientHD systems which noiseless, while fan-based
systems are specially engineered and manufactured with noise-silencing technology, minimizing any noise that would disturb the entertainment experience. At a
1 meter range, fan-based models emit a noise level of less than 30dBA nominal, which is quiet as a whisper!

What are the differences between the Autogy models? What sets them apart from each other?
All units have all the standard media center capabilities, such as storing music, pictures, TV, DVD's. etc. The biggest differences lie in:
o Form factor (in-room or rack-mount)
o Amount of onboard storage available
o Future upgradability/expandability

Please see our product comparison page for specific differences and details.

Can I get an option that I don't see listed for my new Autogy Media Center?
Yes - we can quote custom-built units or specific upgrades. Please contact our sales team with your specific needs!
